Konstantin Malofeyev, the founder of the Orthodox television channel Tsargrad and a sponsor of the war in Ukraine, called on the authorities to launch a nuclear strike against Kyiv following a Ukrainian drone attack on Moscow.
This was reported by the outlet Christians Against War.
“Strike the infrastructure with tactical nuclear weapons. They want to turn Crimea into an island, then let Kyiv become an island without communications or electricity,” he said.
Malofeyev complained that Telegram had been blocked in Russia for security reasons, yet this ultimately had no effect, while “security, complete security at that, arrived on 18 June,” when Ukrainian drones carried out the largest raid on Moscow since the beginning of the war.
Malofeyev proposed that the authorities “turn Telegram back on and focus on the war.” According to him, this would require combating the American Starlink system (“Strike the terminals, the fibre-optic cables in the Atlantic, and use shrapnel missiles in space”) as well as Ukrainian infrastructure.
As LF previously reported, at the St Petersburg International Economic Forum, Konstantin Malofeyev, the founder of the Tsargrad media group and an Orthodox oligarch, presented scenarios for Russia’s future through 2050, in which the use of nuclear weapons was described as “the best option.” The “good scenario” envisages the annexation of Kyiv, Odesa, and Kharkiv, Russia’s transformation into an absolute global leader, and the collapse of the European Union.
Earlier, we reported that the Orthodox oligarch Konstantin Malofeyev would deliver lectures to second-year students at the Faculty of Political Science of Moscow State University.
