Libertas Fidei

Priit Rohtmets (Ph.D.) is an Estonian church historian, theologian, and academic specializing in the history of Christianity and church–state relations in the Baltic region. He teaches at the University of Tartu and the Theological Institute of the Estonian Evangelical Lutheran Church (EELC), and is regarded as one of the leading scholars of religion in Estonia. An active researcher and author, his work focuses on the history of Lutheran and Orthodox communities, issues of religious security, and the impact of political developments on contemporary church life.
